Who we are

This privacy notice describes how Drone Flying Company (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and shares personal information from visitors to our website and clients of our photography services.

Information we collect

Information you give us. When you contact us, request a quote, submit a referral, or book a shoot, we collect the name, email address, phone number, property address, and any details you choose to share in your message.

Information collected automatically. When you visit our website, we collect basic technical information including your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring source. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.

Photographs and media. When you engage our services, we capture photographs and video of the property. These remain our copyright and are licensed to you for use in marketing the property as outlined in your service agreement.

How we use your information

  • To deliver completed media files and process payments
  • To improve our website and service offerings
  • To send occasional service updates (you can opt out at any time)

Cookies & analytics

We use Google Analytics (or a similar service) to understand how visitors use our website. These tools may set cookies on your device. You can decline analytics cookies via the consent banner that appears on your first visit. Declining will not affect site functionality.

Data retention

We keep client booking records for 7 years for accounting and tax purposes. Marketing inquiries that don’t result in bookings are deleted within 24 months. Delivered media files are archived for 5 years for client re-download access, after which they may be permanently deleted.

Security

We use industry-standard practices to protect your information including HTTPS encryption, access controls on our cloud storage, and limiting access to your data to authorised personnel only. No system is perfectly secure; we encourage you not to send sensitive financial information via email.

Children

Our services are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us information, please contact us so we can delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above and announced on our website.
